I think that what is awful about "neo tango", it's that we are losing the essential of tango: the feeling and the abrazo.

Yes, I share your opinion. It depends what one expects from tango. Some like to expose themselves, some see it as sports, some as competition. It is not so easy to open oneself for another person because of the fear to be hurt. All in all it is also not so easy for some to "integrate" the partner, the music and oneself in 1 tango and interact. It is far easier to put figure after figure and to hide behind activity...
